  •  Participants may be selected for the performing group Dangerous Men/Dangerous Women.

Director Evan Nossoff has worked with instructors who were there at the creation of improv, including Del Close an original cast member and second director of Second City.  Close trained  John Belushi, Gilda Radner, Bill Murray, Dan Ackroyd and other members of the first Saturday Night Live casts. Nossoff worked with him in Los Angeles in the early 70s. 

 

Nossoff  serves as artistic director for SacActors.Com; directs the two longest running nonmusicals in Sacramento theater history, "The Vagina Monologues" and "Sexual Perversity in Chicago".  For other theaters he has directed "Our Town" and "A Couch Story".  As an actor he appeared as the co lead in "Talley's Folly" for the production chosen as the Sacramento Bee highlight of the theater year.  He has led more than 1500 workshop sessions covering improvisation, physical comedy, how to act your song, monologues, scenes, and acting.  He also is a professional photographer who has done assignments for Time Magazine, among others.
